Formativelabz Inc is the operating company. Handyman HQ is its planned Calgary home-and-car-care service and trade name. This page describes proposed safeguards, not a live service offer or contract. Reviewed terms, a business contact and required disclosures must be published before any purchase or booking.
1. What you can do now
You may browse proposed services, price examples and sample screens. They are not a quote, reserved time, confirmed worker or promise of coverage. Accounts, plans, one-off visits and payments are unavailable.
2. Scope and service providers
A future order must identify the work, home or vehicle access, scheduled time, qualified available provider and exact CAD price including applicable taxes. The proposed handyman scope excludes licensed electrical, gas, plumbing, HVAC, unsafe roof work and hazardous remediation. We will refer or decline work outside our approved scope. A provider's independent-contractor or employee classification cannot be settled by this page; the actual relationship, screening, WCB and insurance must be verified before offering work.
3. Price and approval
Published rates and founding discounts are proposals. A future checkout would show the full scope, taxes, plan period, included hours and price before consent. No extra time, material or add-on should begin or be charged without the customer's clear approval of its exact price. Plan renewals, unused hours and carryover remain undecided.
4. Cancellations, issues and rights
Cancellation deadlines, refund rules, no-show remedies, damage claims and dispute steps are not final. Alberta consumer cancellation or prepaid-contract rights may apply and cannot be signed away by a website disclaimer. Customers may use outside complaint channels, public reviews and legal remedies; reporting a problem to us would not be a condition of those rights.
5. Safety and responsibility
Customers should disclose hazards relevant to safe access; providers must follow applicable law and stop unsafe work. For fire, gas, injury or other immediate danger, call emergency or licensed help. Before launch, counsel must decide fair responsibility for provider work, property damage and platform errors. We will not state a blanket exclusion of Formativelabz Inc's liability, since legal and consumer protections may limit or prohibit that.
6. Content and brand
The Handyman HQ name, site design, original text, photos and other content owned or licensed by Formativelabz Inc remain its property or that of its licensors. Browsing this preview does not transfer ownership or grant permission to reproduce the material. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners; a final policy must identify any licensed material and permitted use accurately.
