What this website is
A pilot preview of Handyman HQ, a venture of Formativelabz Inc. It offers general information and browser-based tools to organize your own records and questions. It is not a live service.
No services sold here
No bookings, payments, subscriptions, work matching or provider introductions are available. Nothing is billed or booked through this website. Proposed plans, prices and pilots are proposals only and may change or never launch.
No professional advice
Content is not a home inspection, diagnosis, legal advice or an assurance about any provider, price or outcome. Confirm scope, total price, required credentials and terms with the appropriate source before agreeing to work.
Your inputs
Tool forms save only in your browser - nothing is sent to HQ; use general details. The property-manager, homeowner and service-provider interest forms send only what you type, with your consent, and are used only to respond to your enquiry. See the privacy notice.
Your rights
Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable law. If any part of these draft terms conflicts with applicable law, the law prevails.

Roles and responsibility
Draft pending legal review
1. What HQ is. Handyman HQ, a venture of Formativelabz Inc., provides software tools and an introduction service. HQ is not the contractor, does not perform or supervise work, and does not set the price, scope or schedule of any job.
2. Jobs. Any contract for work is between the customer and the pro. Each is responsible for deciding whether to work together and for the scope, price, payment, permits, licences, insurance and safety of the work.
3. No assurance. HQ does not guarantee any pro, document, price, work or outcome. Documents a pro submits are shown as submitted unless a label states what HQ checked and when. Paying a plan fee does not change any check.
4. Responsibility. To the extent the law allows, HQ is not responsible for loss, damage or injury arising from work done at a home or property.
5. Pros. A pro is responsible for their own work, licences, permits, insurance, taxes, workers' compensation obligations and conduct, and for the accuracy of any document submitted. [Indemnity clause: lawyer to draft.]
6. Fees. Handyman HQ tools are offered by subscription. You choose whether to subscribe. The price, billing period, taxes, how to cancel and any refund terms are shown clearly before you sign up or pay. Plan fees are for tools and records, never for work. Payment for work is between the customer and the pro. HQ does not hold money for jobs. [Per-job fee: not offered; lawyer review required before any change.] [Cancel/refund terms: to be set by Vijay and reviewed by a lawyer before any subscription is sold.]
7. Your rights. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under applicable law, including consumer protection law.
These Terms are a draft pending legal review.
